I like it a lot. It looks awesome. Good job!
Hi RoyNOriginally Posted by RoyN
Yeah the leather is a wrap-around. I did not give the shop any instruction but i went to the wrong shop.
The leather does interfere sometimes with the lower left corner.
I already did some padding between the touch screen and the inside of
the case (i don't have pics, i'll make some when i take the display home).
I like it a lot. It looks awesome. Good job!
Thx Cris
It was my aim to do it like OEM, but i have one problem with placing the Laptop, i wish i can hide somwhere but the back of the rear seat is the only place und won't fit under the front seat.
Hi Xequtor,
I Wonder how did you manage to get the sound from your vaio to play through your Concert II factory fitted unit. I`m performing a very simmilar install with a toshiba laptop on a 2004 Audi A3 S-line. I've bought an adapter from a German online store selling audio gear but It does not work, it only has two wires with RCA jacks and goes directly to the CD-changer connector at the back of the concert... so there's no way to select the external aux audio source....
Any ideas? How did you solve this Issue...
Regards and congratulations for your project, really nice your leather screen cover....
Hola Mattlocked
Here is the description how to do it.

Good Job !
But the Notebook should be hide UNDER the Backseat, or UNDER the boot.
What do you think ?
Hi BurnouTT
There is not space for the laptop with docking station in TT as you know
Maybe if I take the spare tire and throw it away.
But, what is a fixed notebook good for ?
"Best Solution" : Buy a car-pc, and integrade it in the left side. Its the "cleanest" way to build in a computer.
I'll build a car-pc with a nano-itx mobo wenn the price drop but for now i'm set with my laptop+docking station.
Damn it, thats such a nice car.
Progress [I will seriously never be done!]
