Yeah really good idea for the screen surround and nice low profile install in the boot.

Did you get your laptop outputting 800x480 or are you running at 800x600?

Got GPS in there yet?

911 yeah, its a Porsche killer with 280PS

The screen cover was too expensive I paid like 350 Euro for it, it was a rip-off
and does not even perfect as I was imagining, I went to the wrog Leather Shop.

I'm runing 800x600 and the quality is gr8.

Yes I do have GPS, Destinator, you can see it on the pic below.

350 euros????? should have done it yourself. I hope you got the cow the leather came from so you can have a good BBQ for that price!!!!

Oh well, done now and i think it looks pretty cool.

Could you post details (do you have them?) about how the leather is applied on the case?

I dont remember there was enought room between the screen and the "screen case" for the leather... Doest the leather interfere with touch/viewing of the screen? I mean in the corners, in the bezels, dont know quite how to explain...

Is the leather a wrp-around the whole plastic casing, or is it just "glued on" to the external part? Thats what I mean. Do you have pics of the process, or did you give specific insturctions to the leather shop that you can share?
