I have a focus too and I didnt want to expose the wire by going through the door bit where some people have. There is an alternative which is to go through next to the steering where its just a case of drilling the plastic cover.

    ouch man, that hurts

Hey, everything didn't work first time in the previous versions!- this is the fourth version!!! It's just by this time I'd worked out what to do and not to do

It had it's longest day out today, on the road from 11AM till 8:30PM and worked without a glitch (including internet and aerial photo navigation), so I'm happy

Sorry m8 about the ford thing but living near the jaguar and land rover plants I'm not ford's biggest fan at the moment!

Thanks for the comments on the site, anything anyone thinks I should put a bit more info on let me know.

At least it worked flawlessly! :-) I've just spent the last two hours setting up my new bluetooth dongle to work for the web and phoco, the second I try to access the bluetooth com port ... doh Blue Screen!

Was the aerial photo stuff any good?

Hey Stevie, considering you've mounted everything really stealth, do you experience any heat problems? I mean with the amp and pc. I wanted to mounted in a similar way, but I was afraid of something going wrong...You're brave man!
