By the way, the toggle switch you see at the bottom of the dash isn't related to the carputer install. It's a 7 hp cheat that controls a bypass in the muffler. Details with dyno specs available here.

Thanks man! We're working on the engine over the next couple of months, as well as the engine management software. We're hoping to pull the same numbers HPA was getting out of their cars. But this whole carputer idea started as a result of wanting to be able to upload a 'fat' program at a traffic light as needed with the intention of keeping a more driveable program loaded for ... um... "normal" driving. :lol:

It is the Powermate. Woke up in a cold sweat at 4:45 this morning when I finally figured out how I could integrate it into the console to make it look factory. Those pics will take a couple of weeks, but work commences tomorrow. ;)

Until tomorrow night... here are some 'night pics': The light tubes and the lights around the fan are all running off of accessory voltage that is regulated via a 7812 voltage regulator. I am NOT pulling that power off the PSU, but was surprised that a 1 amp regulator could handle four lights.
