I'm likin' where you put the USB ports. Clever idea, I might just have to add something like that on my install

By the way.. which camera did you use for reverse?
The camera was just some spycam that has IR for night shots that I got off of ebay. It can handle a wide fluctuation in voltages so I didn't need to regulate it.

    1. it is too big really and I didn't end up needing any full size pci slots. 2. the M1-ATX power supply had to be mounted under the drive bay using 'stand offs' that I bought at radio shack. There was no where else to mount it. 3. The built in cd door keeps flipping open and the spring comes off. I guess if you had a cdrom mounted in there it would be ok, but if you have an external dvd drive it is kinda lame.

Oops - no button for a phone is why I didn't go with that skin. It's very nice, though. Wondering if I should invest the effort in learning to skin to modify THAT one to my liking...?
My first attempt at a carputer.

PM me if you're interested in a monitor faceplate for your '99-'04 Golf or Jetta. My Vortex ID is NorthAtlR32 - you can IM me there, too. Go here for more information.

nice install, nice altima. how hard / easy is it to reach the touch screen ? I noticed that you brought it out farther then some of the other more recessed setups I have seen.

I am a newbie at this, but I also have a 2005 Altima with black interior, and I also would like to make a carputer for that empty dash compartment. Can you list everything that you used, the software and where you might purchase these items?
