Are you going to remove that awful plastic? Oh, and the Xenarc sticker lol. Other than that it looks good. How is the location for viewing? Do you have pics of the PC installed?

thanks, yes i would like to know how to use bondo, i like your camera mount, i would like to put a camera at the back of the car when i reverse, any ideas on this? when i find a screen overlay that fits the xenarc then i will take off the plastic lol! the pc is under the passenger sit at the moment until i finally decide the best location for it.

oh and viewing is not bad, the xenarc tsv is amazingly sharp. its not a showoff coz no one from the outside can see it while driving but i like it that way. sunlight gets blocked a little bit because of its location but not all. reading the nav is i guess harder when driving but destinator is good giving voice prompts.

check out the fabrication forum on here....there are a LOT of how-tos and tons of process pics in various threads....it's not hard to do at all, just take getting over that initial scared factor

    lol

honnestly, I wouldn't worry about finding an over lay fo rhte screen, you aren't going to scratch it unless you try to....these screens are MADE to be touched so they have taken into account the very thing that you are paranoid about...seriously, don't worry about it....I don't think there is another person on here who has put a protective cover on their screen and I have yet to see anyone complain or even mention any scratches....

would love to see some more up close pics of the screen as well as the computer!
