Please post on the forums! Chances are, someone else has or will have the same questions as you!
I'm interested in your home made Amp relay board. can you give me some details or a schemtic and how it is hooked up?
how much did you pick up that Taiwanese 7" VGA TS for, and how good is it?
PC Components:
Lilliput; XPC/FLEX mobo; 1.7 ghz P4 Mobile;512 DDR; 160 gb HDD; opus 150; slot usb dvd-rw
My work log
It was just a simple tiny circuit I did on a prototype pcb with which I use the 12V from the Morex HD connector to trigger the Ignition to the Amp.Originally Posted by scothern

I added an extra LED across the 12v output and ground just for status indication.
The fact that I live in Australia and it would not be economical to order from USA or Europe from here anyway (also I dont really trust those ebay lilliputs), I took the gamble and got it fairly cheaply from Taiwan direct, actually bought a few together to justify the freight cost. I dont want to go into details on costs here 'publicly' as this could upset a lot of people.Originally Posted by Peoples
The built quality was superb for the price I paid for I reckon, no dead pixels and worked straight out of box. I have it up and working for more than 2 months now, what can I say, everything just works! TS works great too. However it doesnt auto switch to AV input like the Gain/Xenarc screens do.
I suspect mine has got the exact same panel (Hitachi 400nits brightness) and same TS kit and similar VGA controller as the Linitx screen floating around this forum, at least by the look of the internal.
