Yep. No problem Phobos0001. More pics to come when it's finished (if there is such a thing). I just picked up a 3rd amp on the weekend so I might have to mount that tonight. I really don;t want to finish the trim until it has ran for a month or so with no bugs.

    Cheers.

I wanna know who told you a cap could blow up if not charged properly. All it takes is a simple resistor to properly charge and discharge a cap. Hell ive hooked mine up a few times without charging at all. Just make sure the ground is off the battery hook up the cap and put the ground back on. Once i hooked the ground to the cap and then the power and got a HUUUUGE spark. Forgot to unhook ground from battery. Wont do that ever again.

sans0024, The cap still scares the hell out of me. Initially I thought it would help with the power to the inverter but since i've wired everything up, it would appear that I dont need it. Having dual batteries hooked up. the PC survives fine whenever I need to start the car. It doesn't re-boot. I think this is probably because i'm only running a 150W inverter to power the PC (which only has a 90W power supply). It seems to work fine. I can run the PC for at least a couple of hours without the motor running and it still didn;t go flat.. I'll think i'll leave the cap out for the moment. I know they're safe if you do exactly what people say but unless I can see a real benefit, i'll leave it out.

    Cheers.

Clean install, I like how everything is in one place and you can see where the wires are connected. Not like in my car where you don't know which wire does what and there are left-over non functional wires everywhere from the older fried systems, there's no way I can clean it up without spending all day figuring it out and trying not to cut an important wire.

    Hey Gazza,

Very nice setup here - I'm in the initial stages of a roof mounted one myself, though I got the "department of the interior" roof console from ebay that goes from the rear view to the room light. One thing they've done in that console that you might like to consider eventually is to extend the wires on your room light and remount it on the bottom of your shelf..

Which model lilliput did you get? I've been looking on ebay and was thinking to get the 8" but truth be told I'm likely to take the laptop with me when I go off-road so this is really just for mapping and music. Do you find the screen big enough and bright enough? It looks to be a fantastic fit in that double DIN and I for one am impressed

    Cheers,
    Moses.
