    Finally, 2004 Toyota MatrixPC is ready for primetime

    Alright, It time for me to show off my Toyota Matrix installation. After all this hard work and money spend, the result worth every single pennies.

    Now the MatrixPC spec:
    Mobo: Asus A7N8X-VM/400 $80
    CPU: AMD Athlon Mobile 2500 $100 but free AMR
    RAM: 2x256MB Mushkin PC2700 $40 AMR
    HD: Seagate 80GB 7200RPM 3.5" $30 AMR
    DVD: Maddog Multimedia 16X DVD ROM $10 AMR
    Graphic: Onboard/Integrated GeForce4 MX
    Audio: Onboard/Integrated C-Media 8738 6-channels.
    Control: USB finger mouse/trackball, USB Keyboard, Infrared Remote Control, USB Touch Screen. $50 for all
    Monitor: Lilliput 7" VGA with Touch Screen. $260 w/GB
    PSU: Custom build ~220W DC-DC base on Sproggy PSU with build-in SDC. $100 parts Digikey
    Case: Custom build clear arcrylic/plexiglass. $45
    GPS: Delorme Earthmate USB GPS receiver with Routis 2004 $200
    WiFi: Cheap Airlink+ USB WiFi adapter. $15
    SoftwareWinamp, WinDVD, FrodoPlayer, RoadRunner, Routis, FireFox, Custom build Video Safety shutdown (in the work for legal purpose).
    Other Custom build e-brake <=>Serial interface Video Safety shutdown $5 for 2 relays
    In progress OBD2 Interface

    Car Audio Spec:
    HU: Alpine CDA9830 $250 Crutchfield
    Speakers: All around Infinity Kappa 2-way 6.5" (62.5i) $160 Goodguy
    Amp: None, but will be soon for a 4 channel amp to drive those Kappa.
    Sub: None
    Other: Replace tiny stock battery with Optima Red Top $110 Super Autobac
    Overall : A much better than $2k Navigation option from Toyota. Toyota service tech will be in shock if they see the system.
