finally installed! 2003 Yukon

Well...I'm finally there..well almost. The dash is 90% fabricated. I'm not sure if you can see in the photos, but the right side of the dash has a big hairline crack that needs to be re-skimmed, as well as a few swoopy spots. I installed a 12.1" vga touchscreen monitor in the dash, and the puter is in the back storage compartment that will be modified a bit more to fit fans, etc. My usb sound card, cd-rom and usb hub is located beneath the cupholder in the center console. I will eventually be molding the cd-rom inside the center armrest, as well as a straight 4 port usb hub. Finally I will be molding a keyboard inside the driver's sun visor. Since I will be refinishing the dash, I'm definately open to suggestions and opinions. Please keep in mind that this is my first fabrication attempt. I hope you all like it!

I'm jealous. I have the same dash in my car but I went with the 8" touch. Now I'm reconsidering but I dont wanna spend the money. One thing I'm gonna do on mine is tilt the top back so that my line of site is permendicualr to the screen. It helps a lot in the day time. I dont know if that screen has a problem at all with that, but if you do, you may want to consider my idea. Nice looking install.
