nice install skippy.
our interiors are almost the same.
but doesnt the navi temperature controls use the navi screen to control some of the features?
that was a great idea to buy the stock navi dash.. how much did it cost you?
if i had thought of that it would have saved me a whole lot of time and money.
Dash cost me about 80bux including shipping. I will be buying the navi controls for the climate control but those run about 130! You don't need to use the navi as far as i know to do the a/c stuff just get the navi controls which will slide into the spot where the cd holder is. Only thing that im upset about is the glare. I can hardly see the screen during the suntime, so I will make a little box to go around it. I'll post pics of it when it is done.Quote:

Great start. thanks for giving me some insight for my TL. I didn't know about the climate controls in the cd slot.
Where will your laptop go when you are driving?

Do you have any pics of the modified HVAC controls? Has anyone hacked the NAVI versions HVAC controls to work with XP or a custom interface?
Will the controls fit in that little CD slot? I've tried (unsuccessfully) to find an example of someone fitting a flip out into the CD slot. Has anyone found this? I really hate being the guinea pig...
