    Updated pics of install

I had some free time so I updated my install. First the laptop had to go, too slow and it didnt like my gps. I went with a dell optiplex gx60. 256ram, winxp, 120gig hd, 2.2ghz celeron. Now she flies!

I stuffed the pc under the seat. I put the gps on my trunk (picture turned out weird bc the flash at night with the moisture ehhh), I also installed a dvd slot drive where the factory cd used to be, and I put a microphone so I can do voice controls, put the ir receiver in the a/c vent and new power switch.

The thing I added which I like the most is my power switch. I used an old acura power switch for the traction control / cruise and power my pc on and off from that. Well lemme hear some feedbacks now that I have gotten things more in control.

    Rikaline 6010 mounted on trunk:

    Pc under seat:

    Pc booting up:

    Frodo player with burlwood skin:

    Iguidance running embedded in frodo:

My lil keyboard picked up from ebgames:

    Microphone from handsfree cellphone kit:

    Modded power switch:

    Inside in all its glory:

I know it may be too late but you may want to consider ditching the Lilli egg power adapter and feeding 12v from your computer power supply directly to the screen
The egg is very prone to failure and youre just plain better off using the regulated 12v

    Very slick LCD mount

I am using a power invertor and a regular ac power supply that came in the computer. Can I still do the 12v thing you spoke of?? If so how can I do it I would love to ditch the lilliput egg thing since it creates a static sound over my speakers

Your computer power supply will have a bunch of these 4 pin molex connectors

Use the yellow wire (12v) and run it straight to the 12v power wire on the on the lilli power plug (make sure its the correct one, I believe its the wire with the white on it but check to make sure)
You can do the same thing for ground (both blacks are ground)

    Talking Lookin' good

Great install! Thanks for the updates.

By adding the navi HVAC controls, don't you lose some control over the A/C unit? Specifically, the ability to have automatic control of the A/C (i.e. on or off)? Also, on the non-navi TL there is a mode button which shows if the air is directed to the top vent, bottom vent, or both.

How do you control this now with the navi buttons?

The ability to blow air top and bottom is now gone with the navi ac controls. I wish I could find a way to fix that Anyways, the climate control still works, i set it at say 75degrees and it will kick on cold air till it is that temp then slow down afterwards. Just like with the regular ac controls. I am going to search for a way to control the vents perhaps with a pc program but for now the air blowing out the top vents is just fine for me

Forgive my newbiness here but will that work if i am using a standard pc power supply and not one of the special opus ones? In other words I run my pc using an invertor to go from dc->ac. I just dont want to fry my screen

    yes,
it will work with both dc-dc supplies(opus) and regular ac-dc supplies(with inverter). Either will be fine.
As long as your supply can handle the extra power draw of the screen (shouldn't be a problem for you)

Ok awesome I will set it up tomorrow Can I use the regular power cord from the cigarette adapter (i dont care about hacking it up)? If so which one goes to yellow and which to black?

EDIT: I figured out the white/black is the 12v and black is ground. Works perfectly now I just have to reinstall it in the car
