My Mac MINI Cooper project is installed!! With the new P1900 Carnetix power supply working great!

I modified the floor air duct behind the Mac Mini allowing it to set a little further back. This worked great! This is a little more close up.

I was able to mount the P1900 under the glove box in the top of the footwell and then I mounted the USB hub in my glove box.

And the screen flips to the side on what used to be the cup holder mount to reveal the components behind it.

Now we need a good front end that can be used with the touch screen.

the screen mount is really amazing hum.... congratulations!!!!!!!
Once good GPS and good touch frontends come to the Mac I'm SURELY getting a mac-mini! much cheaper than most solutons, more elegante, nicer, man, I'm sold! fits anywhere!
Question, how stable is the screen system? is it very bumpy where you live? (road quality), and does the screen bounce around too much?
I have a lot of rough roads here in Houston and the 18" wheels on the stiff MINI suspension makes it worse. The screen did vibrate some by hanging only from the one edge so I add a small piece of velcro to the back of it and on to the auto a/c temperature control dial right where it makes contact. That fixed it and it looks great!Originally Posted by RoyN

Good work dude.
For the screen you could use a strong magnet like you get for holding cell phones to your dash or from this place: http://www.unitednuclear.com/
You could possibly hide it in the alloy strut an have a metal plate on the monitor (although aluminium does shield magnetism so may somehwere else would be best).
Scouse isnt there anything in the screen that could be fcked with strong mangents?
