Whats up everybody. Just wanted to share my mini install. I'm still tweaking alot of things, but overall its in and running great. My power supply is the P1900. I have to say my inverter whined like crazy. This thing sounds perfect not one bit of static in the audio at all. I'm really happy with it. Have to be careful with the sequencing, but I'm working on solutions.
Check it out. Let me know what you guys think.

Looks good on the console:-) Please try to take some pictures of your setup in some light or flash, and where its installed, etc. Helps out the community in getting ideas for their own setup:-)

Looks very good, but too dark.
Looks really nice! You really need to post some day pics!![]()
What HU is that? Did you have to custom program it to say Mac Mini? Do you find the itunes usable on a touchscreen?
Thanks for all of the compliments. Sorry for the picture quality. I was so excited when I finished my install last night, I couldn't help myself. I will snap some daytime pics shortly. If it clears up today definatly.
The head unit I run is the Pioneer-P5000MP. It has an auxilary input and allows you to name the auxilary. Pretty simple and looks damn slick.
Touchscreen isn't horrible w/ itunes. I think only in certain circumstances am I going to be actually looking for particular songs. I think that I will mostly be using the iShuffle feature. I've gotten used to the OSX interface w/ touchscreen. I've been using macs for years now though, so nothing really new just learning to use the touchscreen. I really need to get a bluetooth keyboard to make things a little easier.
More pics to come.
Maxi,
Mac seems to have done a MUCH better job of audio than the PC world. I'm glad to hear you're not having noise problems now. This thing sounds perfect not one bit of static in the audio at all
Keep us posted on what your issues and resolutions are. Also let us know if you try "sleep" for an extended period of time.Have to be careful with the sequencing, but I'm working on solutions.
Thanks for the feedback.

What kind of screen is it? Any pics of the install process?
Daytime Pics...
Enjoy.
MikeH.
As far as sequencing goes. What I mean is, if I want the Mac to fully shutdown and go through the shutdown process, the P1900 has no idea thats what I just did. So when I manually shut down then hit the ignition, the mac boots up when the car is turned off.... now doing the opposite of what I want it to do. I can't think of anything other than the "valet switch".
