quite funny, i bought the same screen yesterday. (or a screen that looks 100% the same).

The screen is a manual in-dash 7" video-only monitor and has no touchscreen and no vga input.

I bought this thing (brand new) for 120 Euros (150 $) and.. the next weekend i try to replace the
screen in the in-dash-housing with my 7" lilliput with touch and VGA.

    PS:
so, my idea is to get an in-dash-housing for my lilliput and an "ordinary" video monitor for use at home or whereever together for 150 $. Thats a little more expensive than the housings i know about.. but .. this in-dash housing is looking pretty cool ;-)

i never drink water cos fish ***** in it. (w.c. fields)

So you did not like the monitor that was in the in-dash-unit?

    Oh,

the quality of the "original" monitor is pretty good, but i want a touchscreen device. I use centrafuse as frontend... and with the touchscreen, it works very well.. i donīt need keyboard or mouse.

Are you using a mouse or something special for the car... and... how is the quality when attaching a pc via video-cinch ? (never tried it...)
