Finaly 3 months later it's done :

The Patients:

V6 2.5 (soon to be supercharged) and POS terminal.

The Result:

Other changes made during this time:

New suspention (Shocks, sway bar and springs. car 30mm lower)
New more powerfull generator (160A instead of 100A)
Electical system partialy rewired
Supercharger Ordered(+120bhp)
New torque converter
Exaust redsigned

But thats out of the scope of this site.

Also on a side note how much of a difference in handleing did you feel once you bought the sway bar? I am thinking of getting one for my car and wondered.

Why didn't you put the computer backwards, with the wires on the back?

'cause in the beginning when the power supply was strapped to the side i drilled the holes for case mounting... There was also no way to put it in the other way round once it was mounted. the position of the old PSU was chosen because of easyer wiring. so after i installed OPUS i could not be bothered with marking out and drilling new holes for mounting...

I wrote before:

The shocks are on the car........ and wow....... I'm speechless. It's amaising what it does to the car.... There is this one nice road on my way home with 2 turns one after another. Before i was scared clearing them at 70mph(110kph)(the back of the car began to drift outward), but after install it was handling exelent at 95mph(155kph) and thats in a rain.....i'm still speechless.

And next day when the sway bar was installed it became even more impressive.... doesn't feel like Lamborgini but close.... real close...

Still waiting for shrut bars(correct me if im wrong) since the bodywork begins to make noises when you go in to 90deg turn too fast...

And can't wait till supercharger comes in....

By the way completely forgot... i'm going to remodel the trunk and make all nice and shiny with chrome and lights. Also PS2 is going in... But thats another project....

Just happens that it was just out of the workshop and those ladas are just standing around the petrol station....

P.S. There are by far many more import cars in russia then Ladas, volgas and the rest of that russian **** they call cars....

Where did you get that POS system? I want one, my tablet is too slow and I don't want to get a Lilliput.

Looks great, you've done very good work! My only complaint is that the wires in the trunk could be a little cleaner, but I don't guess many people see your trunk anyway, so whatever works!
