Sweet install! The Pioneer deck is a nice touch, I use one too. Where did you mount the pc?
I'm putting this here instead of the worklog section because the system is in and running.
The system is in a Silverstone case with the following specs.
Asus Micro ATX Board
AMD Athlon 1800
512MB Ram
30Gb Hard Drive
Onboard Video and Audio
Wireless G NIC
Haupauge TV Tuner
Slim Sony CDRM/DVD Rom
15" CMV Monitor
90W ATX PSU
750W Inverter
I wasnt going for a factory look. I wanted a larger monitor because I do storm chasing and participate in Skywarn. I needed something that was easy to see and read under stress. The passenger still has lots of leg room under the monitor and monitor doesnt obstruct my view out the windshield. I'm still trying to decide on input devices but havnt made up my mind completely. I also need to build a shelf in the trunk for the PC and other gear.
Here is the cable bundle running from the front of the car to the trunk.
I still have some work to do as far as cleaning up.
The 15" monitor

Dont tell me to shut up, I'm Rick James ******!!!
Nice. I think your monitor may be a tad too small though...![]()
i bet that if that has a strong backlight he could reverse the screen and use it as a backup head light if his go out. or like a police spot light.![]()

Here are a few more pictures. I still have a bit of cable clean up to do and I want to move my monitor to the right a little bit.
Here is the main power with distribution block, relay, and 750W inverter.

Couple quick questions. As you are using a desktop and a full size monitor, how much power is it pulling to feed your carputer? Is it powered sufficiently by the car battery?
Yes, I'm using a 15" desktop monitor run off the inverter. I'm using a Lian Li desktop case with a Antec 150W ATX power supply which is also powered off the inverter. The entire system is run off the cars battery without a problem. Eventually I will go with one of the DC DC PSU's on the market but this is what I had the money for now.
