Those keystrokes were the result of lots of drool pooling on the keyboard.
Last week was crazy. We completed three new limousine installation. Two were stretch H2's and the other was a stretch Excursion.
I will be posting the full series of photo's on our website later this week.
These install's were unique because these limousine's already have multiple televions mounted. Replacing them with touch screen VGA's would run into the $1000's + the down time the cars would need for the custom moulding.
Instead we use the composite out signal for our system and a targus Wireless remote to create a carputer system that is competitive with off the shelf stereo equiptment. Installation takes less then 2 hours and the case from mini-box.com makes this the first computer that looks like it belongs in a car.

I was planning on using duct tape to make sure everything stayed down![]()
These are just the first couple photo's I put up on the our website. The cars are finished and everything looks sweet.
We didn't have to do any of the fabrication for the screens they were already there.

so I guess the answer to my question then is yes, you are just going to leave the screens installed like that? just flush mounted and not made to look like they actually belong in the vehicle?
who did the previous install of the screens?
did y'all install the head units in that picture as well? or JUST the computer components

Sorry I wasn't trying to avoid the question. Yes the displays are going to be left like that. They were orginally installed by the manufacture krystal koaches. These computers offered a cheap replacement to the fail playstation and offered them a way to control there music and movie collection. Installed VGA touchscreens would have doubled/Tripled the cost.

You would be suprised if you saw how poorly these cars are setup. Grounding loops and interfernence exist on nearly all of them. Fuses always blow and parts get replaced on a yearly basis. The guys that work on them will tell you horror stories. The H2 in the picture caught on fire last year because of a bad electrical connection.mkay - interesting....Krystal Koaches.....lol
