why dont you paint the bezel of the lilliput if your not gonna bondo it in atleast paint it to match the car interior? maybe even pinstripe a red line where the indentations are on the bezel to give it a real slick look.

I was thinking the same thing. If you don't want to get too fancy with the bezel, i'd recommend just spray painting it bumper black. Then it won't stick out too much, and it will actually look somewhat stock.

I was also going to recommend that you paint your wireless Inet that's on your rear shelf. I'd go bumper black with that too, possibly bondo the logo or do something to hide the motorola indents on it. You don't want someone to see your wireless adapter while in traffic behind you, then follow you to work or wherever to see what it's for.

I've had my screen stolen in a similar situation. They start looking closer to see what you have in the car.

In regards to replacing your stock head unit, you can relocate it like the other Mazda 3S install has done.

Then you can keep your stock head unit, and steering wheels controls, and whatnot. Just an idea for the future

Are you getting any noise from the system? Seems to me, the big ball of wiring would cause some trouble.

I have the 3i 2.0L (the cheap one), and I've hit 110 before shutting down. Seemed to have a bit more left in her, too...
