BMW 328i Touring CarPc Install

Hello All,

I just finished my carpc install (some minor things left).

Im running the following hardware:

Epia M10000 Mainboard
512 RAM
40 GB Notebook HDD
M1-ATX Powersupply
Two 2-channel amps (one for OEM Speakers, the other for the sub)
JBL 12'' sub
Xenarc 7 inch touchscreen
Custom made bezel (thanks Janus)
IBUS Interface (steering wheel control)....a must

GPS Mouse
USB Hub in the Ash Tray
Ikea Key Box

And the following Software:

nlited Win XP Pro
Roadrunner (thanks for the skins CDRSkull)
IBUSCOMM to translate the ibus signals and interface with RR
Winamp
MapMonkey

Any input welcome.....im planning to integrate the GPS Mouse in the rear spoiler.

Probably ill add a TV/Radio tuner

but you ruined it with those *words cannot describe how I loathe* amps!

please tell me you're going to be changing those amps out! please please please!!!

the thing is I had the amps lying around from two previous installs....so they were basically free......

as for the power, its more than enough to power the OEM speakers and the sub.....i dunno if its worth the money, since you dont really see them.

What do you think about opening them up and putting plexi over them???'

for such cheap amps I wouldn't open them up and put them on display....you would probably be highly dissapointed in what you would find inside...as in nothing

a lot of cheap companies like that will put a 'brick' in their amps to make them feel heavier than they actually are and to take up space....why? because in general better amps have more stuff in them so they weigh more....

I'd just work on getting new amps and new speakers....lol

You shouldn't

Imo it's a waste of money to replace a couple amps that do a fine job (even thought they're cheap) Bettter spend that money on something else. Not to mention, amps are for sound, not looks..
