LMAO thats great
thank you for the Kind words kandyman,
you will be happy to know that I was laughed at in the Segway community as well.
but to quote "haw haw haw, look who has the last laugh now"
My seg is being featured in gear magazine, it was featured in a Local NH paper.
and it gets alot of attention. My work speaks. and I love doing it.
Wait till I do my "car" (MUHAHAHAHAH)
LMAO thats great
I still chuckle when I look at the pictures, but that doesnt mean I dont admire the innovation and creativity. Nice work!
Carputer status: [-*---------]
Im thinking laptop...
Okay, now that... I need. No, seriously. I NEED that.
nice! be sure to post the finished product! less wires I hope
Of course, I won't be able to "get to it" for a few weeks, But everything WORKS!
so now comes the task of hard wiring all the peices together.
I am not very happy with the keyboard, it 'sticks out like a sore thumb'
but havent come up with a better solution as of yet. the challaneg on a segway (or a motorcycle) is you have a Limited amount of area, and no were to 'stash' things.
I finished the Battery mounts, there hidden in the side bags, if anyone wants to see them, just ask I will post pictures
SWEET! that is completely awesome!
I'd love to see some in action pictures!
That's truly awesome! One of the most inventive & coolest installs I've seen. It's soooo geek-supreme...I love it!
OK, Mac Mini is in, and installed in the side bag (pictures to follow)
I had to return the touchscreen it was not one with video input.
All in all, everything is going pretty nicely
Ok, here are some more pictures.
I used the packing box that came with the mac mini as a mount in the segway bag, I trimmed the top and back to allow for connectors and to raise it high enough to give me good air circulation for the mac
