Make sure it has USB ports as built in floppy drives can cause problems with the hard drives this way, they tend not to work as well.Quote:

No i'm not using powerstrip, right now im using 1024x768 reoslution, I adjusted the Fonts to be bigger. The hissing was solved, I went to a local stereo shop and bought a filter for one of the RCA connections. I just shutdown the laptop in a normal way that you would on a desktop. Turning it on is not too bad becoz the laptop has an ext. switch on the side. About the screen molding i had it done via fiberglass guys near where i live. The screen molding is configured to hold the whole xenarc screen without taking it apart, coz i want to save the warranty. Big problem though when im driving in the day i can't really see a thing on the screen coz of the fre@kn glare.. What can u suggest?Quote:

It would look a lot better (IMO) if you used the native resolution of 800x480 - anything else will look fuzzy/distorted. Also, you might want to use a SDC instead of a desktop power supply. I use a uSDC20D and just have it go to standby when the ACC is off - it comes back up in 1 sec when the ACC is back on.
As for the glare, window tinting helps, but until the newer/brighter Xenarcs come out, we're SOL for daytime viewing.
Damn, how can connect my laptop mainboard to the USDC20D? ive No idea whatsoever..Quote:
