2004 GMC Yukon Mobile PC

I recently finished taking some photos of my install. The vehicle is a 2004 GMC Yukon SLT.
1Ghz CarBot PC
8" Lilliput touch screen
Netgear 802.11g Wireless Card
Netgear Bluetooth Adapter for GPRS Internet access through my T-Mobile phone
Hauppage USB2 TV Tuner
Powered 12V on-glass TV antenna
14" USB server style keyboard with built-in touchpad
NEC USB DVD/CD-R

I'm currently trying to figure out which UI to use and which one will work with the Hauppage TV tuner. I know TV tuners get terrible reception, I still want it when I'm waiting the car getting gas.

Sweet install lionel. Did you mount the PC on top of the subwoofer, or is the sub located somewhere else on the '04 models.

In the 04 the sub is located in the front center console under the dash area. The space I used is used for subs in other models / years but I was lucky.

Hey Lionel...looking great so far!! As a fellow Yukon owner, I can appreciate all custom work done to our type of trucks. My suggestion..off topic...I believe it is imperative that you get your bottom front valance "air dam" painted the same color as your truck. Cough up the $50 to get it smoothed and painted and it will make the world of a difference. You will be thanking me forever!! I will post some new pics of my truck and you can see how different, yet clean it looks. Also....you could have flushed out a 12.1" monitor in the dash like me...

Cool. I have to admit, I think the front grill looks out of place, but none the less, nice vehicle.

I know what you mean about the valance, it does need to be painted. I was hoping to find a good front airdam / bumper replacement instead of painting that little bit of plastic. Do you know who makes nice bumpercovers for Yukons?

You think the insert in the grille looks out of place? Hmmm. Ok. My thinking behind it was that I didnt want to leave it stock but everyone else uses those billet inserts which I think look cheap. The black steel insert is a bit more industrial / military looking.

My personal favorite and the one I'd like to get for my Tahoe is the Street Scene Gen Vi Bumper Cover.
