Looks good. I especially like how you've kept the buttons for your screen, I just have a hole for the IR!
I recently had to redo it because I used the wrong materials last time.
So I took it out
Took the paint off
added some ****
added some more ****
sanded then primed
Sanded down the primer then added spot puddy
added some sandable primer
between each layer of paint I watched one episode of thundercats, got all the episodes *****es!
done
MP3, Video, GPS, Internet...all while on the cellphone and drinking a slurpee!

It's still not perfect but I was just tired of sanding and painting and was like **** it! I just put the card reader there for ****s and giggles but will probably end up moving it or building it into the dash below the cd player...meh
If anyone can give me some tips on how to paint it so the holes where the buttons are dont get filled with paint and end up pushing it out when I put it back it will be great!

The screen portion looks great, but the computer side of things looks a little . . . uncared for. Any plans to make it a bit more permanent looking?

Lesson learn: never called it's done.
Nice.
Side note: If the saleman wasn't BS about financing, the 2003 TL would of be my car instead of the Matrix. Then I would watch your process and do mine.

Nice install dude. I just finished my install two days ago. My install kinda looks like yours but i put the dvd drive right under the screen. My head unit is in the same area to. I have an Alpine headunit that folds out so i had to cut my shifter, sucks. but its ok cuz now it looks like i have more room in the center console area. When i get a chance, im going to take pics.
Is the HU blocking the OSD port?
