i'm currently looking for a new dash cage to mould the monitor into it. i'm gonna get the one that fits the brushed aluminium trim and then add that to it too.
plus i'm gonna get a new front ashtray and mount a couple of usb ports into it

I managed to get a new dash cage from a VW breakers in Nottingham for £20 - much cheaper than the £50 VW want. I am currently working on it.

Very nice install lovely to see whats gone on in the boot for a change. Just 1 question are your helpers for hire? cos i sure could do with some help with my install!!

Very nice use of trunk space. I need to do the same with my hatch. One question though, how've you mounted your mobo, that looks like a part of a case which is then screwed the the sheetmetal?

Sorry, this'll be my first time running a system with no case and i'm a lil' worried...

right, the motherboard is mounted on a chopped up mobo tray from a case which is then mounted to the mdf door

How do you have the sub box secured. Looks like it needs to be movable due to the amp hatch, but seems like it would slide all over the place and bounce if not secured.
