I think those screens on the headrest are obnoxious...

Edit: You did do a nice job on the dash from what I can see...

So much for the whole "being able to do anything useful with your car" feeling.

I too think the headrests are overkill. What is the point of a 19" screen in the back window? Its great that you are into making it unique, but you'va also suceeded in making it a target for anyone who can't afford to buy a nice flat panel monitor. Even with an alarm, it looks like it would take about 5 seconds to smash a window and rip those out and be on your way.
    Spent so far: $1,755

nice audio setup, and pretty good glass work on the monitor, but i agree that those monitors are rediculous. That's a pretty sweet car, I hope you treat your parents nicely.

I don't blame you for that bigass monitors, atleast you know they are going to work.. All this POS vga monitors that break all the time. And if you spend good money and get 7" vga you might as well buy big flat panels.

At that size they better NOT be VGA!!!! One would hope that it's dvi, why bother with the look of an overkill if the underpinnings are the same as that of anyone else.

    Those are some huge monitors!!!

I think I'd throw up having to sit that close to them in the back seat though!

ghey monitors in back.... but you know that already don't you.

Great work on the sound equipment portion even though it looks like your begging for applause and pats on the back with the "i am 19 and had the car for 4 weeks look what i have done" comment

Truthfully for this to pass the mp3car fabrication seal of approval you really need to get your lines straight on that dash peice. Looks wavy as hell. And the dip on the lilliput botton switch is screaming for attention. Its a good start but it seems that since you rushed it, its not quite finished. What i did on my lilliput was fill in the volume buttone with kitty hair bondo and epoxy it in back to keep the bondo from shifting and then sand down that dip. No need to keep it there it looks really tacky.

I honestly think after reading that other thread that you are begging for attention since the backseat monitors are not for the people in the backseat. You said that they are for the people driving behind you. Did you mom not breastfeed you?

Great job over all and i wish you would further develope the problem areas.

Same reason you need a 19" monitor for back passengers
