2003 civic si. $40 000+ project completed

Alittle comment if you will......Fisrt of all im not mad at you at all. Im just speaking my mind. so please dont take this personal...

These forums are not about how much money you can spend, the are about how creative you are with your imagination, fabrication, programing and installation skills, and aaaand helping others with there projects. I've been looking at these forums for a long time and to be honest nobody puts sooo much emphasis on how much they spend. I drive a 70k car that i bought used for 18k but you dont see me going around posting that i drive a 70k car. I just did a job cost tally for my project and i have spent about 3k TOTAL on all my parts and accessories. if i was charged for this job by some other proffesional, i would probably be looking at about 10k.

Anyway long story short, im sure you have seen by the comments on this post that people here are not very impressed by the amount of money that you spend. So please leave out the money and concentrate on the car and the project which by the way i think is one hell of a good job. Looks tight and since money is no object to you might i suggest some air brushing on your dash.

Amen, jthiani. Mine would've been the eqivalent of that...in the mid cretacious period lol.

But it cost €3000. that's it lol. Not €50k. JTh, how goes the moulding?

Sorry chief, but whoever told you that was a 2003 Si flat out lied.

I own a 2003 Si, and I can tell you this:
My car has a LOT taller headlights. Look at a 03 Civ LX/EX and my Si and you will see what I'm talking about.

My car has the shifter in the dash (the center dash panel also has the vents up top, so you would have to totally relocate the shifter AND buy a COMPLETELY NEW DASH, which probably wouldn't have fit without some serious work)

My car has 4 WHEEL DISC BRAKES. Unless, of course, you had to hawk them for that wonderful Christmasy interior...

Oh yeah, my car IS A ******* HATCHBACK. Seriously, how dumb can you be to go on a car forum, say you spent 40K, and not even come close to having the car correct?

Yeah, you know you really need to watch out for the cut springs and GReddy exhaust with the stock cat and piping. I hear that's good for at least 50 HP.
