    Talking 1999 Mustang Cobra PC

Hey whats up everyone, this is my first post and I just want to thank every active member for this site. Its been such a great resource!

Any who I just wanted to show my progress on the fabrication for the 7" touchscreen. I know alot of people have a hard time with the 99+ Mustang fabs but its really not to difficult. It takes patience though... this project is 15 hours in just for the dash board

Photoshopped concept of what I wanted (to show my friend whos actually doing the fab)

Here is the progress so far, we decided to keep the stereo in since its got aux in, and already bypassed the mach460 so were just gonna relocate the AC controls to the center armrest along with 4 usb ports, dvd, and a multi card reader. The button holes are being sanded down a bit as well as the framing then its ready for paint and installation

    Here is the car itself

Again, thank you so much everyone, this place rocks!

I'll keep the progress updated from time to time

Looks good installing that 7in looks pretty nice.....I had a crazy hard time installing my 10.4 in touchscreen in my 99+ mustang....yours looks nice I posted my progress on here too check it out...I moved the ac down.....where yours is in the photoshopped picture....when you move yours to the center armrest...I looked at the connections for the ac controls and there are air lines I didn't want to mess with it because I think they are pressurized...but I don't know let me how it goes for you.

Can you find out how the hell to remove that center bezel? Or do you already know?
I've been trying for awhile to pry it off, but it seems to be caught up in the A/C control area... is there anything that's catching it from behind? I've got an awesome idea but I keep hitting little roadblocks

I love your body kit, and your install is very clean so far

the vents go a couple of inches deep into the dash, so that's what you may be feeling. the bezel is held in place with a couple of little springy clips.

work the bezel out, starting at the bottom.. when you get towards the top and it feels like it's sticking, just keep pulling it towards you.. it'll come out. just be gentle.

Explain a little more about these "springy" clips? I already pulled the vents out... so that's not the problem, I have a little DIN change bucket/pocket/drawer thing that came with the car... I don't think that's what's doing it, but could it be?
