khmann: when the sun is shining on it, its hard to see. That is the same generally with all touch screens because of the touch screen layer. When its not directly shining, its fine.
Keep in mind your driving habits and location are the biggest factor in this IMO. My daily commute sees me driving into the sun there & back, so I can always see my screen fine.

Thanks for that shot..... another major thing I forgot to mention is when I bought the car my back windshield was already blacked out for me with tint along with the two small back windows my guess that will also help me greatly. So If I want a good picture in the sun the screens you two have are the way to go and not those ebay screens (super.. etc)?
Another thing I want to bring to the groups attention is the fact that people are stripping off there anti glare on there lcd panels on some of the diy projector sites. This is a new discovery, would this help us at all, they claim almost a 50% increase in light. The only way that would work great for us would be if the ts layer has anti glare built in right? Whats the point of having two anti glares on one lcd! Sorry for the rambling I would be happy for some input!

Pyros: I'm wondering once I hook up the RCA harness, do i need to manually run some power/grounds up from the back off the factory amps? or are they somewhere up front that i can access them or what?
EDIT: Can you use any speaker wire, say wire that says for a home application? Same ****, different label right?

wow beautiful install! Great job.

Great job, looks OEM all the way. I'm attempting to fit a 10" 4:3 in where a 1.5 DIN and single DIN (HVAC controlls) once were, haha... I only hope it'll look as good ;)

ibanez: I dont mean to be rude, but I've said it once and I'll say it again. You really need to do more research yourself before you start. Your questions can be easily answered yourself and will help you learn more in the process. It definitely is worth it. It is not an RCA harness, it is an AMP harness with RCA connectors. You dont have to run anything besides the RCA's for the stock amps. You can use any kind of speaker wire, its all the same stuff.
SickVette: Thanks!
jjh221: Thanks!
Farrow: What kind of car is it going in? That should be an interesting project!

Its a grand prix gtp... I'm also getting the digital horsepower powertuner, active scanning and reprogramming of the pcm in the car should be badass, haha.
