Unfortunately no the Avic N-2 can't utilize the Mac as a touchscreen since the avic doesn't support USB interface inputs . But that's why the mini keyboard and thumb mouse work well in the center console so they aren't seen when not in use but handy when needed.

And Cris I always wanted to have all the gadgets James Bond had. One step closer to the ability to completely control your car remotely like in "Tomorrow Never Dies" is where we need to be!

Actually when I first viewed the Mini on the LCD's they looked horrible. I am just using the DVI to RCA/S-Video adapter. I had to set the resolution to 640x480 and choose overscan and TV mode in the display properties on the Mac for it to be at least readable. Now everything is pretty large and fairly readable but I certainly wouldn't put it on par with using it on a screen with VGA input. At some point I may decide to put in a VGA touchscreen (possibly underneath the Avic N-2 since there's a free DIN spot) so I can get a clear screen to look at. I'll probably do it after I get a PC in there (either the aOpen http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000820066107/ or the Sumicom http://www.akihabaranews.com//en/new...C+SUMICOM.html

    Looks Good

Hell if they made custom kits for my car grand prix gtp i'd buy them, haha... I for one don't find fabricating custom dashes fun. Working on putting a 10.4" touchscreen in the dash right now, should be cool ish if I can get the thing to fit!

    Object Dock

Nice, I like the object dock. I put this on mine but it did not make to much use considering that I was using Centrafuse.

    use bootcamp

if you have an intelbased mini then use bootcamp which is availible from apple to install windows on the mini. i believe on the mini it works quite well.

    Hey ngagesexy,
Pick up a Clarion Switcher Model MSS430 or similar to meet your input requirements.
The Avic N2 head unit allows dual zones by itself so GPS/Radio/XM can be displayed on the front screen (head unit) whilst a DVD playing in the head unit can be displayed on external monitors.
Hope that helps and good luck with your setup!
