Yeah, this is a fantastic skin indeed!

I like it more without the lines in the main menu. And yeah, I was talking about the bevel, if you could tone that down a little bit, it would look better I think.
And, you're definatly right about the ffw botton, it makes a lot of sense.

I have made a few variations for the menu:

    1) Bevel for the menu items toned down, lines for items removed, bevel toned down for the player controls as well.

    2) added "1", "2", "3","4" intended as a shortcut to start applications
    - some comments please -

    3) re-added some bevel effect to the bottom buttons for the player.
I feel there should be some contrast (but not also too much) between the middle part of the screen and the bottom. They are functionally different and you should get a hint of that be just having glanced at the skin.
    - don't mind the "1", "2", "3","4" in this example -

A little note: I don't want to change my original concept too much

Why is it drug addicts and computer afficionados are both called users?

Much better! You're right about the contrast on the upper/buttom part.
This is so close to perfection now. Only thing is those fonts...how about a regular Arial, or a Bookman Old Style?

    @ Chris

    Thanks for the comments.
Maybe I'll try some other fonts today or maybe tomorrow. I'll see how much time I have on my hands.

    @ Frigor

I found the VIS on the net somewhere. A french site I believe.
I still have the setup file but it is 286kb, too big to add here in this post.
The filename is : equalizers-setup.exe. I don't kkow if it helps.

I'll see if I can recover the link from somewhere.

I have added a zip-file to the post. If someone would be interested to program his or her own visuals for Mediaplayer, it might come in handy.

Had day off from work today, so I dug up my skin once again.

A little remark: it seems that Frodo uses the slider that is used as the trackbar slider in the "player". That is the the reason for the up, down and scrollbutton being all the same arrow.

    This is the result:
