    2005 Corsa Utility 180i Sport

Ok so.. it started like this.....

Pulled out the CD30 MP3 player that came with the car (only 2 days old), proceeded to remove the top portion of the airvents to cut away to make the Lilliput screen fit only to realise that no matter how much cutting i wouldnt get it flush. Eventually took the back of the screen off and it all fitted perfectly without having to do any major work. Trimmed the lip off the bottom of the vents and that holds the screen in securely.

    Now my problem....

I cant find a wiring diagram for the CD30 (made by blaupunkt). I have established that there is no line in / aux, and THINK there might be a line out. There are 4 pins labelled RSA-L, RSA-R, RSA Gnd and RSA-SWC. Are those for line out?

If they are, I would like to somehow get the line out from the PC into the CD30 (FM modulator? are they any good? and do they transmit any RDS info) and then the line out to the amp. That way I can still control the volume from the steering controls.

    What are my other options?

As the car is only 2 days old I still have lots of work and will post more pics when complete

Do you have a CD changer? If so, ditch it. You'll be using a carputer, right?

If that doesn't work for you, perhaps other Blau's are compatible with your steering wheel controls.
Or get a new hu and wire your steering wheel controls to the computer. Lots of threads about doing this.

I would say, try the FM modulator - I used to have one and it worked great.. If not, you might wanna consider just running wires straight from the PC to the amp...

Unfortunately I couldnt get a line in or out from the HU, so I used a line convertor from the speaker out of the HU into the PC, then from the PC to the amp. Working ok except the tuning quality seems to be quite bad.

Could this be because it is too close to the PC or would it be antenna?
