Finally the carputer is stable enough hardware, and software wise, for everyday use. Still tweaking on some of the hardware mounting (my weak point).
Design allows easy removal of PC box for debug in the house, although most software debug I do using Remote Administrator with carputer in the car.
Software using Road Runner with b8bboi (proximos CF blue) skin, Garmin Nroute software embedded with Skinbedder and Navivoice.
Hardware using Garmin GPS 18, Creative labs usb backup webcam, Escort 8500 radar detector, Linksys USB wifi, XM radio, Creative Labs Audigy PCMCIA, cheap sub amp, cheap 4 channel amp.
Work in progress- Bluetooth keyboard and phone control.

I love the orange skin but I have some modified buttons on the blue main screen that I will need to modify on the orange skin before I can use it. I put an XM and CAM buttons on the main screen since I use them most often.

I'm planing to do the same with my 02 TL-S. You have more pictures of pre and post production of your project.
