geez.....not a chance in hell I'd tear up my truck like that.
nice progress. I'm gonna do the same. Once i have the time, and a spare car to get me around. The money not even thinking of... Damn... You stole my idea to dinamat the headliner area... i wanted to be first.... anyways. nice copycat. ever see turbocad6's setup?![]()
i've seen a few set up's on here looking around doing my research, borrowed some ideas from a few of them, a few of them have been the owners ideas. No its not my truck, i figured if i like how it would turn out, that would push me over the edge to do an install in my IS300. I took some time away from it for thanksgiving to try and make some progress on another project, but should have some more pics uploaded pretty soon. I'm still waiting on some parts, mouse/touchpad/whatever he ordered, 15" flip down screen had to be sent back, its a lot more involved than i ever thought it would be, but even w/ out the sub in yet, i'm amazed at the sound, and the 155hours of music at the touch of a screen is something i could get used to i think

figured i would do a little update.. much more to come
Stunning! Excellent work!
What did you use to make it?
the xenarc casing was first glued to the stock part w/ duramix. i forget the exact number for it but the stuff that dries white, and is super quick dry time is what i use. It's a bit on the pricey side ($50 a tube) but it dries and can be sanded like plastic and will pretty much NEVER let go. Then just a little bit of body filler on the front side. then off to paint.
