In response to some of the questions:

The subs actually sound great even when the seats are down. They are 10's, but the frequency response is amazing! I've gotten lots of great feedback on the sound. I love my Infinity Perfects. It was VERY space constrained (that's why I did the partial fiberglass formed/MDF box versus a more traditional all-MDF style box. When I am cruising without rear passengers, I usually leave the seats up for display. But I never want my truck to loose it's true functionality. At the heart, it is a truck, and it's got to stay that way. It still goes off road and it still must do it's chores.

Thanks again for the compliments. When I started this project, I wasn't really sure how it would end up. I never had much experience with any of the fabrication or computer stuff. Just a lot of crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. Overall, I am pretty happy with it.

The next goal is to figure out the programming side and get a nice skin going. WinXP is soooo tiny right now...I need a bigger display for my fat fingers.

Nice install. The relocation of the controls looks clean.

Very nice work, clean install, and I especially like the comment about "it's a truck, and must do its chores".. Much respect. Congrat's man, you've done well.

    DodgeMan,

Nice job! I'm going to be doing my RAM too. Question -- why did you locate the screen towards the bottom rather than on top where the radio is located? My thought was to put the screen on top so that if I'm watching a movie I can keep my eyes on the road as much as possible. Do you find that to be a problem where your screen is mounted?

I am probably going to locate my HVAC controls in the ceiling. Still thinking about that one. Nice to see your ideas!
