i just don't understand you. maybe it's me, but i don't get it. why post on this site? you clearly only want people to tell you how great your car is, how many awards it's won and to sign your guestbook.

but you only want comments from chrysler owners. maybe post on a daimler site. this is a car computer site. you haven't shown one picture of a computer. you've shown countless pics of screens, amps, subs, a coffee maker, a fire extinguisher, oem gps, a stupid xm receiver on the dash, etc. why not post on sound domain?

we see this stuff all the time. i won't even give you the links, there are too many. have you read the other posts? or do you hang out with this guy?

05 Magnum Install only owned for 4 weeks MUST SEE

he also though this was a site to show pictures of screens. probably every other "show off your project" besides you two show the computer and how they built it. the people on this site do some amazing things. big deal, you knocked over a lilliput store and installed 5 monitors. maybe a board adminstrator can get you a cookie. but you didnt do anything unique. you didnt do anything special. the very least, you didnt even show what you did to help others for their build. that way you can show them the problems you faced and how you accomplished your goals. you just showed pictures of expensive stuff slapped together.

they dont make a prefab unit for the din opening for a screen, as said in a previous post. did that stop anyone in these forums? many people custom-made their dash, moved AC controls, removed their stereo, moved AC vents, learned to make dash pieces, etc. to me it looks like you spent a lot of money but didnt do jack squat. did you even install it yourself, or did you bring it to a shop to install? this is a custom board. nothing you did was custom. prove me wrong. show us something unique, not expensive.

Also one more thing - whoever told you that the Chrysler GPS in not good is an idot, do you even have a chrysler??? If no, then I would appreciate if you keep your comments to yourself. It seems like you own Pioneer and are in desperate need of selling Pioneer Products.

Looks like you just joined the forum today and your first post in this forum is an unwanted negative comment. That kinda is suprising. Do you know shrinkydinx ?? Why cant you be like others here. You may make friends.

PS: One of the reasons, why I dont have the indash unit is because if the screen opens up, then I cannot use the ATC controls. I have to squeeze my hand behind the unit to adjust temperatures and such. See I use my brain before buying ****

Can't say that I own a Chrysler- but I sure have worked on more then them then you probably have.

And I don't even have a piece of Pioneer equipment installed in any of my cars- all Alpine source units. I deal with Pioneer units all day, though- and know them rather well.

If you don't want opinions on your car- then delete the thread and take down the 57 pictures that you posted.

It looks tacky as hell...but that's just my opinion.

And P.S.- if you "used your brain before buying ****", you wouldn't have gone to the decal shop and had them muster up a "HEMI" decal, when you clearly lack one.

Don't forget that guy with the XA, the other one with the XB, and the other guy with the PT Cruiser....

All those screens are just asking a thief..."PLEASE, I have all the money in the world.....STEAL MY CAR!!!!!!!"

    Peace,

kumiyer, Everyone here is just giving their opinion, albeit somewhat rude. It is there right to say good or bad things about what they see or read. Your car looks real nice, but as others have said this site is dedicated to carputer installs. I know it says mp3car.com and it looked like you may have mp3 capabilities but some pictures of how you installed it or a computer controlling some of the monitors would be nice to show off. There are some really good carputer installs in here with 7 screens. Screen size is also a big thing here, I myself just got an 8 inch touch for my system and plan on learning how to do fiberglass so I can install it flush into my dash.

Anyways, make friends here because you will probably need them when you get around to installing your carputer. There is a lot more to it then buying parts and putting them into your car. Power is a big deal in the carputer installs. Hope to see more pictures of how it all went together.

p.s. coffee! Remove and insert computer i would worry about it spilling all over the leather.
Um, I guess this is where you put something witty.WITTY

Just remember this , if we all did the same exact things it would be kind of boring. I have a buddy who in every build up he does he uses the same motor, same transmission, same rearend same steering column, same fuse block, the same seats just a different shell. Personally I think it is a waste if your building the same car every time except a different shell. I persoanlly feel what makes this hobby so neat and fullfilling is being creative and exploring new boundaries. Hell one time power windows were laughed at probably and now we make them voice activated-- it isnt being lazy, it is just expanding the capabilities and making things interesting, possibly even more productive and convient.
I can appreciate everyones attempts on projects whether it is a person with limited abilities or vast wild creativity and abilities.
As far as the HEMI sticker, if the car has a hemisherical head it is a HEMI, Not just chrysler had "hemi's". Boss 429 was a hemispherical head, Nissan/Datsun had hemishperical heads as many others.

You have some nice equipment. To me though, you have too much equipment. It looks to cluttered, and allot of it looks like it was after thoughts as far as placement goes. need to colormatch the the shrouds in the visors. Would look OEM that way. When I do custom work. I want to add all the features needed, but have it look like the factory did it, not me

I have been a guest for quite a while now and finally decided to be a member and post few pictures. Visit my website at for complete list of modifications and pictures.

Would you be willing to share where you got the 300M dash monitor holder and how you went about mounting the camera while still keeping the trunk latch usable? I recently bought a 300M and was looking to do the same.

    Thanks!

    -Mario
