thats a high tech carputer you got there
This is my second project here on mp3car.com. Its not as functional as my first but it gets the job done.
Here is my first project (Wifes car): 2004 Chevy Impala Carputer
Now on to my new one.
The specs;
Motorola MPx220 cell phone w/ Windows Mobile 2003 SE
Globalsat BT-338 Bluetooth gps receiver
1 gig miniSD memory card
Voice navigation software is Mapopolis. Great little program that can do almost as much as iGuidance.
The gps receiver has the SiRF III chipset and it works great from my dash. Usually picks up 9 satellites.
For audio it uses Windows Media Player 9 with a casette deck adapter. The 1 gig card is enough for about 100 of my favorite songs, plus a couple episodes of the Simpsons.
GPRS Data for mobile internet

oh yeah..
question on that adapter on the mpx. Is that stereo to stereo adapter 1/8" to 3/8"?
Cause I just got an i870 and got the stereo to stereo adapter and it sounds very low. When I take the plug out half way it sounds much louder. just wanted to compare notes![]()

Pretty nice! Isn't that phone display a little too small though...?
Ya its 1/8 to 3/8. Mine works the same way, pull it out a bit and everything is louder.Originally Posted by dvorion
