I told you to use paint thiner on that wood trim, paint thiner takes that right of.
well i got a bezel and it was stock with the woodgrain now i just started to cut it to fit my 7" screen it looks like this now
still have to sand it down and primer and paint and then clear coat will update pics. Im going to put the headunit i have into the glovebox and move the controls down one spot.
after 150 grit
600 grit
finish sanding
primer down
base coat and clear coat next base is drying still needs a lil bondo to fill gaps but doing that later on
ok paint is on
when we get a chance me and my bro are gonna redo the whole thing i think the cold ****ed with the paint and there were peeling and shyt but for now i like it ill post pics with the monitor in it too

u shuda filled the gaps and bondod the whole thing in :-P
i say restrip the whole thing down. fiberglass the screen into the dash. than im pretty sure you can get the whole peice turned into a wood trim finish. so the whole thing will have the wood finish and look factory.

well the color i have it is the color of my original the wood dash is one i just bought and im going to be bonding it all when the weather gets a lil better
You should've molded the screen in there. Paint thinner is what to use when removing any paint.
Definitely fill those gaps - you already ****ed the wood!!
im not using wood i bought it off a kid who had woodgrain my interior is that silver so that y i painted it sliver. but im going to but filling in te gaps when it gets a lil warmer outside but for now this will work
