Well I used a regular stanely wood planer and hacked up the abs pipe I got from lowes. It was a real PITA but I got it done. My abs sludge wouldnt melt all the way but I put it on anyways. I went to check my work this morning and walla! It was dry and looking good. I got a syringe and some Oateys abs paste and filled the holes. Ill take a pick again later when it has all dried up. So far except for one lil leak where I didnt want it, everything is working out great.

    Hello !

You are not alone. My previous project was on Lexus RX300 too
I used a 7inch Liliput instead of factory screen. And I also installed a factory screen in the box betwean the front seats and pointed small camera on it, so if I was need to see original screen I just switched my Lili to AV IN

    Sorry for my english.

Here it is with 3 coats of plastic paint adhesion promoter:

I found while painting I have a few spots to touch up with bondo. Hopefully I can get that done in the morning and then put on some of the gray paint I have. Lemme know how its looking

lookin pretty sweet. you gotta fill me in on what products you used and any possible problems i should watch out for.

i started my project about a week ago on and off and got it ghetto installed today. i put a 7" lilliput ts in the slide out cup holder in the center console. i rigged a push button that turns the thing on and puts it into hibernate and have it next to the center also. i used a 1700+ amd chip w/ 256mb ram and winxp. put it all on a crappy $10 socket A board and powered with a 400w inverter. i had to fool around with the power cables going to the inverter for a bit until i used some 12ga wire. everything is now working correctly w/o any power issues (no line noise, etc). i think i will get some stuff together next week and design a powerup/shutdown circuit that will work with my setup.

also where did you get the extra dash piece? ebay? and how much.

I got the extra dash piece on ebay. It came with the radio controls for like 80bux shipped.

Here is my latest pic. I think the grey may be to lite for my car so I may have to paint it with a darker grey. Few more coats and she will be ready to install.
