looks good. is that sub any good? i got some free when i bought an amp and i'm thinking about hooking one up just because its sitting around.
I figured I might as well share this too. It's all part of the system. It's a sub-project to the main computer project. (Get it, sub....project) anyway, here are some pictures of the 10" subwoofer box fab. It really does fit nicely. I'm not done with it yet. Still needs a few more layers of fiberglass. But it sounds good, and takes up minimal space at the same time.

Personaaly i would try to find a better sub that would fit that inclosure. Pyle is not exactly my brand of choice.
Trying is the first step toward failure
It's not the best speaker, but it will do for now.
Ok, the mold is almost complete. Tomorrow, after some final styrofoam mold touchup shaping, this thing is going to get glass. Should be interesting. Like I said before, working with this syrofoam is sooooo messy. It's been going a little slower lately, since it's been like 20 degrees F here. Makes for coooold times fabing in the car.
looking good, but I don't suggest u fiberglass in 20 deg. weather, unless u wanna wait like forever for it to dry. Or unless your doing it indoors or u have a heater that will heat ur garage to around 70 or so.

HAHA, yeah the first layer I put down for the sub box was like 30 deg. It seriously took all night to set up. One thing I've found that works good is shining my big ol' shop halogens on onto it and the radient heat is plenty sufficient.
put a fan on it as well, the more air circulation the better.

Why don't you just take the whole center piece off (it's not all that hard) and fiberglass the entire thing? Or did you want to do it in sections? It was easier for me to just take the whole thing off and do my bondoing of the entire piece. It was a lot easier for me to remove the whole thing than I thought it would be.
Wow, really nice idea on mounting the screen. I look forward to seeing it finished.![]()
That styrofoam mould is pretty impressive. Cant wait again![]()
