thanks everyone, i promise to get pics up tonight. I use bondo regular body filler. I first used 100 grit to get that bondo down and used fine 400...it seemed much finer, b/c i bought more 400 (not the same kind) and it seemed rougher than the stuff i was using....so a very fine 400 grit (3m, tan in color). I took my time with the sanding and the bondo. I used probably about 5 layers of primer with sanding 2 times in that process and sanded 1 time before the black semi gloss. after 2-3 coats of black, i sanded 1 last time and applied the final 2 layers of black. The last layer i kind "spritzed" the paint to try to give a oem look to the surface and turned out pretty good. The surface isnt as smooth as the picture depicts.

I'm about 90% sure I'll be getting a new RSX TypeS here soon....of course the first thing I'll be doing to it is start a CarPuter project for it....I currently have a Lilly with the motorized housing but I think I'm gonna sell it. How much would you be willing to charge to mold my screen like yours? That's a Xenarc, right? I could just order the screen and dash piece and have them mailed directly to you if you'd be up to it. How long do you think it would take?

What did you have to do for the audio setup? Did you integrate with the factory Bose or just take it all out and start fresh?

i dont know how much id charge for something like that. Its actually the lilliput 629. It would probably take me about 2 weeks to completely finish. You have to be VERY careful installing it though, as it CAN crack where it was molded. I would not be responsible for shipping damages and damages done during install....considering i dont have all that much time to do this id probably charge 100 bucks to get it done.
