My work log
btw, the system im running is a miniatx biostar M7VIG 400, with an AMD 2200+, 512 or a gig or ram (i havent decided yet, probably just stick with the 512). 40G Hitachi 'deathstar' HD, Onboard S3 UniChrome graphics, onboard sound and an Opus 150W PS. I washed my car this evening, so ill get pics up of that tomorrow when its light out
Thanks, i appreciate it, im really glad it turned out the way it did. Haha, yeah the pics dont really do justice on how much work bondoing and sanding time goes into a project like this. The first pic isnt abs, i used this glue that i found at my house, its technically not a "superglue" but on the tube, it said "BOND"...i used that to secure the faceplate in and then went out and bought some KrazyGlue brand superglue and went over the back and front seams with it.Originally Posted by Peoples
Very nice, now lets see it in the car!
That bezel looks absolutly amazing! What were the exact steps on doing that?
I can tell it was a lot, but, what sand paper grid did you use?
we demand pics of car!! :P rsx type-s *drulleee* nice install man good work!
It looks really good! Nice work! I wish I could get my trim piece to look that good... (even after 3 tries...)
The only thing I'd be afraid of is that Bondo cracking in the differing temps....
The Bondo-glass is much stronger...
Good luck!
I was just wondering if you can tell me th process in which you do this. I am planning on a project in the near future and would really like to do what you have done there. Do you just use Bondo to fill in the cracks and then what grit of sandpaper do you use? Any help would be grealy appreciated! Thanks!

Excellent work. Paint job turned out flawless. What paint did you use? The semi-gloss looks great.
