The Opus power supply does indeed power the complete system excluding the cooling fans and monitor obviously. Really impressed with the power supply as it was second hand from good old eBay. (£50) Much better than the first option which was a couple of 12 volt security light batteries connected in parallel to the main car battery running a 12/230v inverter. Had all kinds of problems with interference, noise and high drain etc. This all fitted behind the box on the left side of the boot along with a 250 watt ATX power supply ( lot of humming and fans running ) still you live and learn.
I have tried to keep the car original without having to drill to many holes and cut away anything so to mount the boxes on the left and right i had to make a second floor and accommodate the wiring, spare wheel and second amp hence why the boxes match the floor. Will in due course match in the sides as well.
I bought the acoustic carpet from a store near me rather than online as i have found that the quality, thickness and durability can vary greatly from manufacture to manufacture and you can't beat checking out the stuff in person before you buy. I will say though that in my experience cheap is not always best when using this stuff.
By the way the smiley you will be glad to know has gone!

I have a question... I have been seriously considering something like the Viggen or Base coupe. The thing above the radio, what does it do? Is it just a driver information system? If so, can I just have the PC give me that information and put a regular CD Receiver there (with minimal modification?
Peace,
Rafster
