First attempt at F150 custom dash

    Hey folks,

Just wanted to get your opinion on what I have so far on the dash. I need to go over it one more time with some bondo and sand paper, but overall i think it looks pretty slick.

The slot at the top is to access the Aopen pandora that will be sitting about 3/4 of an inch behind (hoping it works)

I removed the airbag light and will probably cut it into right above the slot.

    So what would you change??

no i havent tried the cd yet, unfortunatly i am still waiting on the processor.

going to spend another few hours on it tonight and add some more strength to it, its very stout already but the rest of the dash flexed and left some hairline cracks.

i should have taken some step by step pics but got to excited during the process.

you ever think I should just leave it alone? I being the smart one filled in the cd slot and smoothed it all out. I think it looked better before I touched it GRRR

Oh well the good thing about fiberglass, you can always add more.

I'll snap a pic of it in the truck tomorrow, till i spend another few hours on it again.

Well just an update, that pandora slot sucks! you have to get all but 3/4 of an inch in there before it will grab the cd. now i am looking at finding an extension cable for teh drive so i can locate it outside of the box. (no need to waste it)

IT ROCKS btw, so anyone sitting on the fence about building it should get off there a$$ and do it!

    Pictures will be up tonight
