Anyone try HDTV instead of Analog TV? HDTV is either works, or doesn't, no snow or static
Have you played with OTA HD much? This is clearly not the case. Instead of snow you get digital noise, like when a DVD messes up. My antenna is barely strong enough to pick up the HD channels in my area and I have enough trouble with digital noise and sound cutting out while stationary let alone moving.
I bought my ATI HDTV when it was first released. When used with the supplied indoor antenna, I would either get a channel working or not working. I then connected to the roof top antenna and every channel works perfectly now. Atleast for me, it works or doesn't.
I would be using the TV for myself (driver), I was planning to watch TV like on a lunch break or while waiting for someone while stationary. Would the analog tuners have better results when not moving?
how do you run power on your car pc. do you use a convertor or is it hard wired in. let me know i am going to try to install one in my explorer.
thank you
Wow, this is awesome. I will be looking to do something similar. How did you move the stock screen down below? Did you buy a new center console face plate that was pre-fabricated or did someone cut your console to fit?
