thats cool stuff, ambition required for that climate control molding and such...

i gave up on my 8" lilli when i had one similarily installed in my grandprix, couldnt find a nice place for the climate controls (and i broke the damn thing)

i resorted to the motorized k301, waiting to buy a 10" 16:9 high-brightness display to mold in where the a/c vents, stereo, and heads up display controls are

also, fyi, i put a slim optical drive where the shift indicator is to the left of the shifter... it works well if you have a slot-load (just enough clearance underneath), and dont want your shift indicator

wow, I don't know how I didn't see this already, I have an 01 GTP...I may have to copy this design to an extent...I want mine to look a little more OEM, but props man, very nice job!

More OEM? What did you have in mind?

I thought this one looked pretty close to OEM considering the way it all looks... most people who don't know what a GP is supposed to look like ask what we did when they see it!

you're right, it does look very close to OEM if Pontiac were to put that screen in there. where you have the screen, the fabbed stuff you did has very similar radii in the curves and it all flows pretty nicely with the rest of the dash. maybe he's talking about the shiny finish?

sorry i didn't post in so long lol... been busy, kornkow was correct, the shiny finish is what I was referring to...since the stock finish is that cheap looking plastic...don't get me wrong, i LOVE that setup, I'm just not quite that skilled with the handiwork lol...too bad the gtp doesn't have a double din cd player, that'd make things way easier...
