Nice project. I really like how that bezel looks. Any more fabrication pics of that?

Who knew you could fit a DVD drive in there too...

Hi everyone once again. I thought to start another thread but I have this one, so I can post my new project pictures here.

Once again SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH

Last time I showed you The Under Dash BMW X5 Carputer, but that project was not stable due to overheat.

I did another step and relocated all carputer to the trunk. I rebuild my bazel and now I am ready to show you my new project

So far I have:

- 7inch touchscreen Xenarc (I am planing to install 10 inch Xenarc)
- 2.4GHz P4
- 1 Gb RAM
- 120 GB HDD
- WiFi
- iBus
- Subwoofer

Also I improoved my Xenarc by adding extra backlight from some another non-VGA 7inch wide screen. I will post some pistures in LCD area on this forum.
It works, and I got aprox +60% more brightness. Now I can read it during the sunny day BUT still not so good.

Yes, at that moment I was just a beginner in fab. Now I feel much more professionaly in it, but still have to practice a lot

So at least two-three more bazels to build.

lol , it gets way cooler then that here , usualy gets - 20 to -30 in winter and +30 to +35 in summer, summer is hard because of the almost 100% humidity(makes it feel like 10 degrees hotter). Good ole quebec.

Just wondering what the starting piece is here, that you mold the monitor housing onto.. I have seen this type of install muliple places but i can never get the help.
