I think you shoulda ran the wires under the false floor or perhaps under the right sidewall carpeting. Cause that wireing looks like it was done by a two years old boy...

How closely does it match the other parts? I've been thinking about using some kind of filler on mine to make it look even better, but have been concerned about matching the bezel with the pieces above and below regarding both color and texture.

its not a perfect match, but honestly, no one can tell unless i point it out to them. and when i do, they think i'm crazy obsessive. i used dupli trim paint from advance auto parts, flat black. they also sell textured varieties, but for my purposes the flat black worked perfectly.

i need to get some rubber-like material for the lower compartment, i have a slight gap between the plexi and the shifter housing. did you seal if off, or did you manage to get a perfect fit?

I got a perfect fit. I notched the top corners in the Acura trim piece. This allows the plexi to slide down into a groove. For the bottom, I just beveled an edge that fit perfectly up against the front of the trim piece around the shifter. The plexi doesn't move and there are no gaps! Once in place, it never needs to come out, so I secured it with some super glue just in case.

Great install, looks very well done. I have a question aside from the carputer; are you a photographer? The pictures are very well taken/done.

thanks rida, i do art and photography on the side for fun.

very nice install. i think acura should have put those displays down at the bottom to begin with.
