    Nice install!

I came very close to buying a Focus, but opted for the Neon instead. I probably would have done something very similar to your install.

I like your idea of mounting a fan on the housing for the computer, I may have to do something like that myself at some point, I have noticed that the heat does build up in there, I dont have any problems with overheating, but it would be a nice touch.

Thanks for explaining how to make the cd rom slot. I was wondering the same thing. The install looks really great.

no sorry m8, I was pointing out, that, when the plastic is cut away from the dashboard, behind the screen, theres tons of room,,, i bought one of these small amps from ebay, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BANDIT-500W-WA...QQcmdZViewItem
but as I found out, because it was a poor quality amp, the whining noises from the engine was terrible, I tried everything, from earthing all the points and placing ground loop isolators inline, but they were rubbish, All i ended up needing was a half decent amp, I am curently using a small 2 channel kenwood amp, Its nothing great, but it works a treat.

I think you may be able to mount an amp under the dash from the footwell, without cuttin the dash apart.

    best of luck anyway.
