Here we go. I did a test fit with the plastic protective cover still on. Is this the way yours fits?
You can see from the closeup shots that you can see between the screen bezel and the dash piece and it doesn't mount flush at all. Plus, the EBAY bezel doesn't snap in because of those snap pieces that hit the screen going on. What do I do about that?

Allright, here is the problem, that bezel which holds the LCD, TS and Controller boards needs to be cut down WAY more than that. Its hard to describe in words, so ill just have to take a pic of mine. Basically what you end up with is just a very small thin "frame" that goes around the LCD and TS. You have to leave the screws which hold the lcd anchors in place, but the rest of it gets cut on the sides. The top and bottom are also heavily cut. You will see when I can take a pic.
This will allow you to place the screen through THE FRONT of the honda dash opening rather than from the back. Once you do that, you will lose that huge gap and the piece will look much better, just like mine and DLe's install.

Damn, through the front? That'll look hella nice, so what holds it in? I'll see if I can dig up your old post.

That's awesome but you must push it pretty far in through the front. I saw the pictures and it looks like you pushed it through, almost to the back.

Yea, thats it. like I said, that Xenarc bezel really has to be cut down. You will see when I post the pic without the trim.![]()

Allright, here is what I mean by when i say the xenarc bezel has to be cut down! Those grey rectangles you see around the edges of the opening are double sided 3M tape. Thats what holds the plastic trim piece in place. It works really well and the trim piece will sit completely flush with the rest of the plastic dash part.
